Anyone know if Kenwood Head Units are compatable with the FJ steering wheel controls?
Is there a Kenwood Steering Wheel Control Adapter?
I saw them for Alpine, Pioneer, Sony and Eclipse but not for Kenwood.

I am considering the Kenwood DDX6019 because I hear the Pioneer products are not entirely compatable with Sirius. Apparently Pioneer units won't display all the Sirius information on screen. I also want a nav unit and the Alpine's nav unit is outrageously priced.

The Pioneer units are completely compatible with Sirius, providing they are new enough that the say Sat ready and not just XM ready. The early units were XM only. Any of them 2005 and up will work with both. The Peripheral PES-WIX will control the Kenwood headunit through the OEM steering controls. This unit uses an IR emitter so you have to mount the led in view of the headunit.

How to connect Kenwood steering wheel remote harness plug to 2007 FJ Cruiser’s plug? It’s not same. Would be plug-in in newer models, but which color should match to each other in the older model?

The Kenwood is DDX919WS.
