2007 FJ. For some reason the chime is sounding even with the key out and the doors closed. The only way it will stop is if I either start the FJ or connect the driver's side seat belt. I'm guessing it's a problem in the ignition switch? I have both seat belt chimes disabled.
Any ideas?
I suppose I need to make a trip to the dealer. Hopefully it will be covered under my extended warranty.
Thanks.
Added: squirted a little WD-40 in the ignition last night which didn't fix the problem, but when I went out this morning to take it to the dealer it was 'healed', so I guess I'll wait and see if it happens again.
