You can check here.

https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/gmug/alerts-notices/?cid=stelprdb5421602

I think you are largely traveling through Uncompahgre National Forest while traveling from Ouray to Moab (at least through the Colorado portion of that trip).

p.s. edit....not even going through Uncompahgre NF if you take the paved route from Ouray to Moab. If that is the route you are taking just check Colorado road conditions here:

http://www.cotrip.org/home.htm

My comment relates to the back way from Ouray to Moab via Rimrocker Trail etc.

Hmmmmm.... Rimrocker trail sounds more fun than pavement :thinkerg:
I'll have to do some research!

start here. It's really Montrose to Moab....but close enough

http://montrosecounty.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapJournal/index.html?appid=294f88f09b3c4002b4e9cd87511fe3b1

Here's the Colorado PDF:

Heres the Utah PDF:

Basically goes up and over the Uncompahgre Plateau/NF and ventures through part of the Manti LaSal NF to get to Moab. The longer, slower more scenic way to get there.

I am a dirt biker and have done some dirt biking down there. This route is mentioned on a lot of dual sport or adventure biker forums.

-Oil change for my FJ. I think that's pretty much it..

-Help my brother finish his swing-out bumper. Fabricate and install an Iconic_ fab bumper on a friend's FJ.

-Pack up and roll out!
