working on an LBI beach run in conjunction with the Chowderfest weekend
of Oct 4th...

1. its a $25 fee...will expire on Dec 31st in the year issued...
2. no vehicles allowed on beach from may 15th to sept 15th
3. 15mph speed limit
4. there are 4 accesses to the beach
5. no open fires allowed on the beach without a permit
6. no alcohol
7. no vehicles allowed on the sand dunes
8. cash only for the permit
I checked out the fj bruisers forum and if you guys are also going to hit up wharton state forest that weekend you can count me in for that too.:rocker::cheers:
I'll be picking up my permit next week so you can count me in. and if anyone wants to go wheeling that weekend i know some local trails and pits that we can go to.
the permit is called a "beach buggy" permit..you can pick it up at the
beach haven police dept 300 engelside ave in beach haven..right on the corner with the main boulevard
it allows you to drive on the beach...theres no trails... :lol:
the island 18mi long and about 4-5 blocks wide...
i believe the rules are listed in the first post...
there's some nice off roading in the pine barrens which you will drive thru to get to the island..
im interested in the chowderfest and driving on the beach
