Looking for a portable battery-charger/air compressor

I had one of these but the compressor pump broke, any recommendations?

Not exactly what you asked, but the little max-flow compressor/inflators are hard to beat for the $$$.. Ron

The cheapo ones are usually made in china, hence not very reliable.

Yep. I had a blue one from SEARS or something like that, for bike tires and just in case I ever got a flat on the car...never happened so I don't know if it would work, filling it and hoping to be able to drive to a service station.
