I have a 2010 FJ Cruiser, 120K.
Recently went to the dealer, who I don't have an issue with for the record.

But wanted to hear the groups opinion on these maintenance services.
I am assuming these are parts and labor
Serpentine Belt $200, Brake Fluid $150
EFI Fuel $200, 4x4 Fluids $190
Trans Flush $240, Coolant Service $180
Spark Plugs $430

I get the belt and brake deal... prob needs it.
Going to assume the car has not had the plugs changed, so check that as yes.
These would like more opnions on:
EFI Fuel System Service, 4x4 Fluids Service
Trans Flush, Coolant Service

If you have a garage or the climate is good enough to do it outside... You can save yourself a pile of money and do your own plugs and belt.
The rest is easily doable as well... just gotta youtube it! LOL

Agree with above. At least do a little research and see if you can attempt some.
Especially the plugs. That is over 4 times what it will cost you to do it yourself. Even if you have to buy a cheap wrench, an extender, and the plug socket.
Super easy. Not 100% sure on the '10, but on the '11 all are accessible. Don't even need to remove air filter.

I do this easy stuff by myself heres what it cost

EFI Fuel $4, 4x4 Fluids $40
Trans Flush $40, Coolant Service $20
Spark Plugs $24
Super easy to do and save a hell of a lot of money

Guess that's why I do it my self. Don't be scared of it, get I there and turn a wrench.

yeah...unbelievable isnt it. Can buy the Denso OEM iridium plugs for like $6 each as Sanderhawk mentions. This means....$400 in labor charge....really...4 hours to change 6 plugs?

OP....every one of these things you can do yourself if you have any mechanical ability.

two years ago I took my 2008 to the dealer for spark plugs -something I might do myself but I was short on time and had a trip coming where I needed the vehicle.The dealer had quoted me $300. When I picked it up the bill was $160 and the dealer said somthing about and agreement or advertisement that no maintenance item would ever cost more than $160. I do not know what they were talking about but that is all it cost me.
