This has come up with others recently and it's happened to me too so this is a just something to think about.
Your FJ is purring like a jungle cat. It's running perfectly. You hit the trail. All is going well.
Suddenly a "clunk" has developed. It's an annoying clunk, a recurring clunk and you're just not sure where it came from.
Worry replaces confidence. Something isn't right.
Rocks often migrate into the coil springs. While there, they bounce around until they migrate out. Sometimes it's a frigging rock that bounced up into the space between the skid and the rig.
I know that it sounds too simple. But it's a good place to look first :grinbiginvert:
'Cause it happens when you're out there eating rocks and cropping out dust on the trail.
