Thanks Lstamatis!! This is one of the very few, if not the ONLY, instructions set on how to properly remove the mirror glass from the rear view mirror. I was wary to start with, but most other instruction-sets suggested prying off with hands or screw drivers. I gave it a try, but it really felt like I was going to break something, so thought "this can't be right." Went back on line and found your method of using a screw driver and twisting the blade under the bottom catches. It worked like a charm. Once I got the mirror off, and saw the back of it, it was pretty evident that your method is the intended method. It was still kind hard to get the glass back on, but getting them off is a piece of cake now, thanks to you.
