I just happened to see this brand of trailers when watching stuff on YouTube. They have this series with about 5 different sizes from the one in the video which is like a teardrop to the bigger more conventional style with indoor kitchens and living rooms. Rockwood also has other models from pop ups to 5th wheels.

The guy is a little rough in his presentation, but it's a nice little trailer and the other guys who do videos are a bit smoother. Just thought I'd post this up as it might be just what some are looking for in a small lightweight trailer.

Small trailers in several styles.

Max Flyer Mini Camper

A mini toy hauler version with an off road option and the option for ramp or barn doors too.

Max Flyer PLUS Mini Camper

A bit larger trailer

Discover Flyer Mini Camper

All aluminum frame and structure. Looking around the site it seems that the heaviest one weighs in at just over 2000lbs and the largest one is just over 19.8ft long and at the fenders around 8.4ft wide. The dry weight of the larger trailer is a little over 3000lbs and it has a gross of 7000lbs. Options include the pop out tents, roof rack, larger fridge/freezer, roof vent/powered roof vent/A/C with heat pump, off road package which adds ground clearance and bigger off road tires along with a side mounted spare instead of the front mounted one. Power cord and batter compartment on the drivers side front and then a pull out kitchen with 2 burner propane stove, fridge/freezer, and storage area on the passenger side. An optional flip up table for the front of the trailer makes an "L" shaped kitchen prep area.

Patriot Campers is now in the USA.

It looks like these guys have put a lot of thought into them and use them personally.

I wouldn't mind taking one for a spin.... it might actually make it in as far as I go :D

I'd like to see how the powdercoat and everything else holds up to our winters first though...

Well I am now actively searching for a trailer. I may well be living in/out of it for a while while I find a new direction... (what better way to look for it than with Zero, my FJ and a trailer).

The Patriot would be on order if I had the $$$ I might stretch to a used one from Australia. But that design best suits me. There are a lot of Chinese built copies/in the style of the Patriot and the Metalian (South Africa). There are lots of used at good value in South Africa but no contacts there.

So far the shortlist, if I had the funds... are

https://www.metaliancampers.net.au/parthian.html

Home - Overland & Offroad Expedition Trailers

All of these are compartment type with slide out kitchens, RTT and 270 deg awnings... I need to be able to set up and pack down solo and bug out if I need to quickly.

Anyone with links to anything similar post here please

Bean Trailer is another teardrop trailer made in Utah. I'm assuming people would be looking at the Mean Bean and Meaner Bean versions.
