This question is for those that have used the Motive Power Bleeder on their FJ brake system:

How much brake fluid did you need to do the job?

I'm going to be doing my brakes soon and figure I might as well change the fluid while I'm at it (obviously with a Motive Products Power Bleeder)

My brake fluid was really clean, even after over 4 years so it was hard to know when it was flushed. A quart bottle is probably enough but you might want to buy a couple just to make sure you don't run out with the MC too low to drive and get more. You can always take one back if you don't use it. If you have a manual, you might want to change the clutch fluid too.

do any of you guys have trouble getting the motive top to stay on the master cylinder? Maybe i'm not attaching that chain correctly but mine ends losing pressure.

I actually went and bought a different chain since I read that it would slip off if you used the one that came with it.
