Hi Folks, when you talk about M.P.G. for FJ's are you referring to miles per U.S. gallon (3.78 Liter's) OR miles per imperial gallon (4.54 Liter's).

The stats are mpg. I would imagine where they use imperial mpg they might denote that rating. But on here most everyone is referring to mpg. Just remember mpg cab be very different depending on how you drive, modifications, the condition of the vehicle, and even where you live (elevation). But overall our right foot makes the biggest difference.

Do not know anyone who uses the Imperial gallon, if it is Imperial it is 99% of liters.

there are, I think, two members on here who are in the UK, other than that, its all US miles per gallon

(though, folks posting here from all of the other countries use liters/100km, which is a much more intuitive system but us 'muricans aren't ready for that)

The quoted mpg is US gallons, i.e. 3.785 litres.

If you want UK mpg then US x 1.2 will give you UK

And haven't switched my thinking to litres/km quite yet.

Liters/100 km. But if I convert to mpg, I use Imperial gallons as that's what we used in Canada before the switch to metric.
