So, I looked at all the other solutions and decided there had to be a better way. So i went out and bought this a 1/2 Locking trailer hitch pin. It came with two different sizes. I then cut off the angled end. I used a 1/2 Die and threaded it to thread into one of those weight clamps. I used red locktite to keep it in place. Worked out really well. I could have made it a little shorter, but it works just fine the way it is. For added security you could drill out one of the allen head bolts holding the clamp on, but i figured the way it was is enough to discourage thieves.

Very nice! I just mounted my hi-lift yesterday and was trying to come up with a theft-prevention solution.
