More rigs will be joining us, including Tacoma's, 4Runners, and some classic FJs (FJ40, FJ65, and more....)

Status Update: 2/5/11

Met with John D of Toyota

(OK,for all of you that have been asking.... I have been informed that we will have NCFJ window stickers, they will be made using the black and white logo that Jason Stanley came up with and that is currently on our Facebook page - Thanks again for the design Jason!)

Now on to the update:

(1) Current Confirmed Vendor List includes:

SEVEN various auto/truck related vendors have committed so far, I wasn't sure that I can list them here, but you can email me and I will be glad to provide a vendor list. Also, email me if you would like to bring your truck and participate. Email me/PM me here on the board or my Yahoo account:

(2) Leith Toyota has pledged the following:

Location
Volunteers
Signage (banner, etc)
Show flyers
Windshield display card
Use of conference room for after show meeting and possible future club meetings
Some SWAG* tbd

(3) Food:

Currently we have confirmed a hotdog vendor with refreshments for sale.

(4) Next Steps:

I will meet with Red Hot & Blue BBQ (as well as other BBQ vendors) to see if they are interested in participating.

More ideas have been discussed and will be attempted by John Desmond and myself. I will issue another update as soon as I have more information available.

We are looking to set up a "donation station" for a Veterans charity as well

For all those that have not yet replied......we would still like to see you out there with your trucks, so please post if you can attend or not.

I am ready. I have been here since July and really wanted something I could be a part of involving the FJ. Finally there is something no to far to drive to. As it warms up we can get some OBX runs.

UPDATE: just post a copy of the Show flyer on the Facebook "event page" and Main group page. The flyer is going out to the printers and then will be distributed to our vendors/sponsors to be handed out in their shops!

Can't wait for the show. Unfortunately a lot of my new mods that I planned on having done this week may not make the 19th deadline to show off. Having a lot of shipping issues lately.

Dang i really wana come and hang out, the only mods I've done so far are window tint and installed A-Trac, of course I've only been a FJ owner for 2 months, but i have to work that sucks, but id like to finagle a window sticker from someone...
