Got some synthetic to replace the ATF with in the wifes FJ.

Of course, like many others... drained and replaced the filter and seal... and then looked for the fill tube.... none.

When I picked up the synthetic fluid, I asked a buddy that has the shop that I get my synthetic from...

Go get a cheap pump up sprayer, take the end off, put a hose on it... so off I went... and then clear PVC tubing.

Talk about a drip less easy way to get 4.5 quarts back in the system.

I'm sure its been posted before and there are other pumps and such, but this was awful easy and cheap enough. I"ll mark that bottle and use it for things like that only in the future.

Yep, was aware of the pump too. Didn't have greatest of luck with those cheapy ones in the past so decided to try this. Around 4-5 bucks for the pump sprayer cheapy, and 29 cents x 3 foot for extra hose.

Yep technically its not sealed, but it ain't totally easy to fill either.

Just thought I'd share another way of doing it. No harm no foul.

Did you check the fluid level when you were done or did you just add exactly the same amount you removed?
