My Toytech's did the same thing. I was able to get them off using vice grips to hold the stud and A LOT of patience to get them out.
That’s what I did with the front studs, but I just couldn’t get to the back one to save my life. This was the alternative.

As of yesterday, my inspection passed and I’m good to go for another year. Once I find my patience, I may move up to the top notch on the bilsteins due to minor tubbing at full steering lock with any suspension flex. I may also consider using the springs from the Toytec lift on the bilsteins in the future. My gut tells me this will be MUCH easier to do than what I just went through.
