I was installing dynamat on the rear suicide doors and the seat belt slipped through and now won't retract. Anyone know how to spool the belt out?

close the door first and try it. It has an inertia reel system that may me at too steep of an angle to release if the door is open

+1 close door to pull out, it just plain locks out if it's open. Plus, if you let too much in it will lock up and you wont be able to unreel it.

Thanks for the replys. I ended up removing the ground wire on the belt assembly for about 5 minutes and the the tension unlocked and I was able to spool the belt out properly.

careful hooking it back up, id disconnect the main battery. Those bright yellow wrapped cables go to the charges in that belt back. It blows a pin thru the beat to perma lock it in an accident.
