I was out wheeling my 2007 fj and crossed a mud/water hazard that was only 3 feet deep and my door seals did not hold. I have a 4" lift and 33" tires so the water as only up to about 6" up my door. My old Toyota PU used to handle over 4ft no problem never a drop in the cab. Now after two weeks of stripping out the seats and interior im back up and running...I would also move the computer up higher and use sealed electrical fittings. I have gone through and sealed them all my self but what a disapointment that the interior flooded so easily. By the way the engine never stalled and I had great traction but what a mess.:boohoo:

I believe the owners manual puts the limit on water crossing,
from the factory at 27".

You had better check your diff too. You probably sucked in a lot of water,
unless you have added a Shimko breather relocation kit to it.

Hopefully you did this before the water.
