What were the factors the drove the preference for 2WD vs 4WD?

What RTT are you going to install?

I've owned a couple 2wd pickups, and even with our winters, have never had trouble. Plus, it was less $, was less likely to be thrashed by an amatuer, and was likely to have come from a state that doesn't salt the roads.
Should be fine for the places i'll go. I'm not into breaking crap.
I couldn't have picked a better truck.

The RTT is a Yakima Skyrise 3.
Great tent, i had it on an old Fozzie for a while.

There really is a ton of info here. I'm still sorting through the maintenance tech section.
The truck is very clean, but there's a napa oil filter on it, so i'm going to start with some fluid-changin'.
I've become an oem-part snob in my old age. With subarus, i think it matters, so for this i'll try to stick with Toyota parts.
Can't hurt.
