Just received 5 new Goodyear MT/R with Kevlar in 285/70/17.
I've just gone over 50k on the OEM tires, so it's time to lift and put on some agressive tires.
I've just ordered a Rough Country 3" series II lift, it should be here in a couple of days.
I took the tires to be mounted, and the guy wouldn't do it! He said I'd ruin the tires before I got the lift on it, and to do the lift first. I was a bit surprised since there are a number of people on here who report running 285's without a lift. Perhaps the tire guy was just being cautious.
These are some great looking tires, and I can't wait to get them and the lift on!
