I was on Long Island last week and I saw a Voodoo blue FJ with a stock looking low profile roof rack. It started about half way back and was only about 5 or 6 inches high. The tubing was square or diamond shaped i think. Any one have any ideas???

It could have been a factory rack modded into the "Mini" rack. people take off the top rails on the roof rack, and just use the bottom tubes of the factory roof rack.

The factory made mini racks are from round tubing, it might be a custom made rack. Got any pics???

Thanks for the heads up on the half rack. I did it this morning and it looks great. How did they fill the back joint where i had to cut it off? What about the bolt holes? Thanks for all of your help.:clap:

I took the joint filler and turned it down so that the part that went between the two upper bars now points at an angle towards the ground. I am going to mount a light on it for reversing and getting unwanted motorists off my rear bumper.
