Greetings from NM. I spent my early years in WA.(y)
I lived in Anacortes, WA. In the San Juan Islands. No ferrying! Made life much easier. One of my longest & funnest SUV I owned was a Forerunner. It was NOTHING to throw some gear in the back, load up the kids and dogs and head out and be at various places like Mount Baker in about an hour. I miss just picking a direction, and off you go to lakes, logging roads, or up to the passes, or Cascade or Olympic mountains in very little time. Winter we would drive toward El Diablo, & you drive until you hit the closures bc of snow, sometimes rock slides. So I got seriously spoiled after 15 years up there. My FJ would be some serious fun to take back up there. I probably will do another cross-country road trip and head that way at some point. So now it’s finding out what Florida and South has to offer. :)
Gotta learn more about my FJ capabilities first.

Welcome from Texas! I knew a Jane when I was in Junior high. Nice girl, although she punched me a lot. And my nephew married a Sarah. She's pretty nice and hasn't punched me at all.

Small world, huh?
