I've got a stock '08 FJ w/ the standard 17" wheels, no lift, stock OEM suspension, etc.

The 16" wheels I am picking up are from an off-road package FJ so they should work out just fine, no interference with the brake calipers, yadda yadda.

My goal is to try out the pizza cutter thing...so with that in mind...

Will 255/85/16's work out without rubbing/etc. or am I going to need a lift?
Should I think about upgrading the brake calipers & rotors with these puppies on there?

I tried out this tire size calculator (Tire Size Calculator - tire & wheel plus sizing) that I found around here and according to it, it's only a 1" diameter gain.

Whaddaya think?

Without a lift you are gonna need to do a body mount chop, but even if you do get a lift you might still have a rubbing issue. other than the body mounts every thing else should be fine.
