Today was the shakedown for Bossquatch73 and PB&FJ 07's new lifts (see general consensus below). Although it was a rather quiet day at the hills of Hollister, lots of action was to be had!

Wow what great shots !! I really love the shot at truck hill.. You can really see the bumps.

Sounds like you guys had a good time. DaveF2 and I did Deer Valley and determined it to be a 7 not a 6.
Is it me or does that tree in the Truck Hill shot have a bra on it.

Yeah Potato Killed that thing !! it was funny... We were all hanging round at the bottom and this guy was there and Steve took some pics of his Heep... Then After Steve makes it to the top of Truck Hill he Says " I aint gonna let no Toyota show me up".. Me and PB just look at each other and say ohhhh umm OK.... He then gives it several attempts and cant even get it 1/4 of the way up...:rofl::rofl::rofl:

HE left with his tail between his legs... To Damn Funny !!

Come to think about it all the jeeps were having trouble that day...:lol:

^ HAHAHA. Yippee. Did you guys go to the obstacle course also? i didn't try that slope that had all those boulders since my FJ has no lift yet.

Yeah that is where we stage up and air down.. You can do that hill.. you just have to go slow and get your wheels on at least one rock cuz your to wide to fit..:cheers:

WEll We first went up to the Quarry and played out there for a couple of minutes then we were on our way to the Top when a friend of mine wanted to do Lost Hollow trail.. I had asked a couple of friends of mine who have jeeps to join us. Well we had been up this trail several times and something happens to one of use everytime.. We its was my friend mikes turn..

There is a real rutty hole filled spot about 1/2 way up and he ended up breaking his rear driveshaft.. He was going to fast up the ruts and one of his rear wheels went up in the air and got a good spin going, Well when it hit the ground all he heard was "SNAP"... This guys works for jeep so it was like 5 min the drive shaft was out and we had hi turned around and back down the trail we went..:cowfrown:

After my jeep friends took aff after lunch we went back up to the top and then all around the other side to end up at the base of truck hill and then we had fun with the guy in the jeep in the previous post.. It was a pretty mellow day.. I was real dead at Hollister that day.. I mean I only saw one or two ther rigs out there.. I hope its just as dead out there for you guys on this Saturday...:rocker:
