Has anyone seen/done a mod for an OEM roof rack that would add some sort of basket or shelf that has a flat bottom on it. I sometimes find the need to take cans of gas places and would prefer to use something om the rack for transportation. I did some forum searching but did not come up with much. I did run up on an aftermarket deal but never found a price.

Baja rack makes a drop in basket. I suggest you click "search", then "advanced search" and enter your topic. Good luck! I would love the Baja basket but they run over $300. I don't need it that bad.

quality is iffy but for the price, it's not that bad
