Is it safe to off road with a tire that's been professionally patched? Living in the city, I seem to pick up a screw about once a year. I always have it professionally patched. Is it still safe to take the truck off road? I don't do any heavy technical stuff, just fun dirt/sand trails.

I must say, a screw once a year is pretty bad:lol::lol:

I dont think you should have a problem with the patch though

I ran the Maze, Fins and Things, and Immogene Pass with a patch, no issues.

I'll be running next week at Rausch Creek with a patched tire. We'll see how it goes.

I'd say that's the perfect tire for off roading (if you damage it further who cares) as long as it's patched from the inside and not plugged.

One of my BFG allterrians has six patches on it. The others have close to as many. Have yet to encounter any problems thus far. Just keep your tires balanced.
