Hey Ladies and Gents.

I'm in the market for a new rear bumper in order to remove the tupperware from the back of my rig, but I can't decide! I love the forum comparisons but I need to be able to move my eyes around the actual thing to convince myself. I can look and not touch, and I think we need to set this as a rule of the thread and results right up front, as was intelligently brought up in a previous thread in regards to the summit. Respect your fellow Cruiserheads and their rigs. :D

So here's what I propose: we use this thread to post up what we want to see, and post up replies as well as to what we can show off as it is requested. Not only will we get to potentially interact with MORE members at the summit while helping each other out, we may solve some tedious mod dilemmas!

If we have internet access at the summit we can PM each other to set up a handshake and mod show and tell using the posts of this thread, or exhange cell numbers before hand.

I'll go first with a request, and when I see something I can help someone else with I'll reply to their request.

I would like to see pretty much any aftermarket rear bumper setup, preferably ones with provisions for Jerry Cans. (I will consider making my own can holders so any rear bumper platform will do really!)

I don't have it, but i would go demello rear bumper if i was buying. Only thing i don't like about it is you have to send you hitch to Jason so he can modify it to work with the bumper.

If you want to consolidate all the "Show me yours" into one time and place, a good time would be immediately following the "Modifications Q&A" presentation on Wednesday afternoon.

The modifications Q&A presentation starts at 3:00pm and will conclude at 4:00pm in the Best Western parking lot. And, one presentation would make for an excellent segue into the other.

BTW Joel, you're welcome to touch my rear bumper. :D :D

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY the FabFours rear bumper w/swing arm (not well made). If you must have one, buy mine because I'm getting a DeMello bumper.

Tony was hoping to have his rear bumper done. Not going to happen, you can take a look at his front, if you would like. ;)

Steve: you may have more women than you can handle wanting to touch your rear bumper!!

I'm down with that! Look for a short Canadian wandering around oogling rear bumpers and that will be me.

Can I really touch it Steve? Really? :pinklove:

I have a few things I can show if anyone is needing some oogling to do of their own...

I doubt they will be ready for the Summit but the X-1 bumper will be worth the wait.

Edit: I'm told that it is almost done. And check their website for the Geri. The bumper will have options to carry these.

I should be bringing at least a couple with me. (fuel/water geri)
