Did you ground the connection to the minitap?
Check all the connections on the relay. Power (verify at the relay with test light) as well as GND (using the test light in the opposite sense, applying 12V to it and grounding it on the 85 terminal) and the feed.Good idea, but I checked it and I do have power to the switch. Not sure of how many volts - my meter is down - just using a test light. Showld be 12V though if I am getting power.
I'll keep an eye out for you, let us know how it goes!Steve and doublejfj : thanks for the responses!
Doublejfj - I tried a different switch - no help. I have not tried applying 12V to the 86 wire. I will do so tomorrow.
OK. Will do. I also ran a seperate hot wire for additional 12V outlets. I may pull power off that wire, rather than the mini-tap.I'll keep an eye out for you, let us know how it goes!
 Glad I could help.doublejfj - success!:clap:I changed a couple of the wires and soldered the connections. Lights work just fine. Never was able to pin point the problem, but that's OK as long as they work. Also installed a double accessory plug at the same time.
Thank you for your assistance.
