Unfortunately the LCA is already torqued to 100 ft-lbs. I have read many posts suggesting that, but only found one post where that was confirmed to actually solve the problem for someone because theirs was left loose from the alignment shop.

Are you suggesting tightening it even further, beyond the 100 ft-lbs?

Well it solved it for me, i don't use a torque wrench, so i can't say. I just know mince still had 3/4 of a turn loose.

I'll tell ya what, I'm gonna try it. I hope over-torquing the LCA bolts won't be dangerous, but I should know pretty quick if it helped and if not I can back them off a bit back to 100 ft-lbs

I have solved my clunk!! It is the driver's side UCA striking the coil spring. It has rubbed the powdercoating off the spring in two locations where its hitting. Looks like I've got to get some aftermarket upper control arms ASAP.
