I recently got into a rearmed crash and just got the rig repaired at the auto shop. One of the big things affected was the parking sensors as one got smashed in the crash. The auto body shop put on new ones but they still just beep twice every two seconds or so and don’t actually work as sensors. Wondering if they didn’t hook them up properly or if I need to do something to recalibrate them? Thanks for any help.

Need to trace and check the wiring. Might have gotten pinched or cut and thus the signal is compromised.

Did they replace with OEM brand? I've heard bad things about cheaper brand sensors.

You payed for the work, have the shop correct it. If the shop is out of the way, a quick check might be to make sure both harness connectors are securely snapped in. There is one at each corner, look for a small harness underneath.

I bet the either broke a wire, the sensor itself or forgot to plug the new one into the harness.
