Looks like the pervious owner was trying to install a body mod or snorkel. The passenger's side cowl to the outside of the ventilation is offset (see photos). I ordered the clips that fix it in place from Toyota. Concerned about damaging the piece on the way to replace the clips and set it in properly.

Has anyone removed this piece without much issue? Recommendations on technique if so.

Hardest part is removing the rubber boot on the antenna. Check out windshield replacement videos on YouTube some give pretty good views and tips on cowl removal.
