Hello Folks. I am in the process of getting the displayed laminates cut to black out the 4 corners of my FJ.

I was wondering if someone with a little more finesse than me could add a black section between the windows on the sides... Kind of like where Air2Air's and FJCamels are white. As well as enhance the image to resemble the pictures above? As far as the pillars and rear hatch is concerned?

Im considering getting a piece cut for that section as well and wanted to see what you talented people can do. And, if it's not too much to ask, black out the mirrors and handles as I am planning to change those as well.

I'm very thankful to anyone who decides to waste their time on this project. I have attempted it myself and it looks quite horrible. Thanks again... I'd be VERY appreciative.

If you add black to it, it would be white roof, black section, and then blue for the vehicle? I'm trying to visualize what you have in mind.

Thanks for the reply.

Im wanting a white roof, blacked window level section, and everything else as is (aside from mirrors and handles. Basically a black midsection.

No problem!

we have a very similar setup :) Good choice on everything there.

I've got the gobi, arb on a titanium with donahoes. Mine differs with tires and wheels though.

You don't say! I guess you were predisposed to wanting to help me photoshop then, huh? :) Thanks again.

It seems that if I went this route, it would look better leaving the handles as they are, and painting my mirror housings but not the base. (like in your chop)

Thoughts?

I like the second pic attached to this post, basically the original, without black handles, but here are alternatives for you to look at. Depends on what you like :)

Are you planning to black out the bezel up front also? I think that would look really good also.

Oh wow.. How neat. Yes I agree, I like the second one better too...

And while the bezel would like quite good painted black to match... I have decided that I ultimately want to paint it white. It's been planned in my head for far too long.

Here's a picture where it is visible if you decide you are bored enough to give it another shot. Thanks again for those previous jobs.. I'm totally surprised by how I like it. It is being shown to the specialist.
