there are 3 stages on the lighting
usually..

stage 1 = DRL​

stage 2 = DRL + parking + mirror/marker​

stage 3 = full headlight + parking + mirror/marker​

i just switched out my turn signal housing and when i clicked on stage 2 and 3, the parking lights and mirror lights wouldn't light up. the turn signal and hazards do work.

i did not change any of the wiring configuration.. and even used the same bulb receptors (?). the only thing i replaced was the housing...

so i'm guessing that i knocked into a wire or a fuse blew (possible?) or something.

any advice on how to fix this problem would be appreciated so much!!

Did you check the fuse yet ?... :thinkerg:

yes start the troubleshooting. Fuse would be my guess, since the parking light works. Can't be the bulb if the signal and hazard functions work.

now to download a pdf of the fuse chart since the previous owner of my FJ decided to throw away the manual for some reason..

thanks for the diagram nester.. turned out to be a blown fuse. all is working properly now. thanks a lot everyone
