oh and one last thing....jesus christ the rust in Chicago. That same type of rust would take 100 + years exposed to the elements to look like that in Colorado. I have seen less rusty stuff in abandoned mining operations from a 100+ years ago.
100% right on both your last 2 posts!!! When I do the trans flush, I'm going to hit both diffs (I'll do transfer case in fall before winter). Rust is sooooooo bad that there is a huge hole in stock skid plate. Ordered an RCI. The bolt holes in both diffs are so full of rust that the hex heads won't even go in them. Got a .22cal and 9mm brass bore brush. Gonna stick them into the cordless drill and clean out the holes and around them. Spray the crap outta everything for a few days with PB Blaster and keep my fingers crossed!!!
