I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this so please let me know.
I bought my fj not too long ago (used) and I’ve been fixing a lot so far but I canfigure this out.
There is this wire coming from in between the console and i can’t find any conclusions. I have yet to pull and dash panels to see where it goes due to being busy this time of the year.
photos below
anything helps!

G'Day,
could be anything.... its aftermarket for sure... powering something non stock.
The power socket is OE wired to be only "hot" when the ignition is on / engine on, and 120watts / 10 amps of power.
so maybe a CB, or fridge, radar detector, etc... doubtful its lights ( I hope not as its a bad way to wire hi amp draw devices)
did the previous owner leave any manuals in the glovebox ? ... or aftermarket accessories in the vehicle?
Bottom line, you have to trace the wiring to find out....
Cheers
Baz

I appreciate your help!
I’ll be tracing the wire sometime in the near future to hopefully find the solution.
My initial thought was CB but I will keep looking!
