Quick question (for anyone really)

I just installed mine today, I decided to go without the locking option. How long do we expect the adhesive strips to last? I pressed down on them quite firmly and it feels solid. I'm just hesitant to pull the top back with "normal" force if that makes sense and have the lid lift off.

Anyone run into problems with the adhesive over time?

Great product!

Thanks

The adhesive strips are actually a hook and loop (velcro-like) strips. They are designed to be able to come apart in the event that you need to remove the cover for cleaning. Just be sure that you follow the directions which has a recommended minimum installation temp. for best adhesion. With that said, it seems really solid since the unit has a snug fit and I doubt the strips will lose their function over time.

Mine has been on for almost 2+ years and gets opened and closed everytime i get in and out of the FJ as that is where my Glock 27 resides in a Blackhawk holster and its concealed by the sliding cover when im driving.
You won't have any issues with the cover or its fastners.
