ha, i believe they are 3.5". a much better option would be to purchase a pod from wicked cas and install a 5.25" component set, 6.5" coaxial, or a 6.5" mid with a tweet elsewhere. what does the rest of your system consist of?

i'd have to say this would be the best bet for a good sound because i found that the rear speakers do nothing but add a slight echo and have a slight delay beacause they are much further away then the rest of your speakers are from your ears, except i'm not all that convinced that you need the wicked cas pods. 5.25 speakers fit just fine and sound fantastic andyou don't have to spring the extra money for the pods

Just my 2 cents

Stock ones aren't 3.5" I'd say they are around 2" they are TINY my 3.5" speaker in my dash was quite a bit bigger. If you are throwing subs in the back....then why the heck are you putting rear speakers back there? You're subs will over-power them. And why are you getting the W6 in 12" form? It's a SQ sub, go for a 10". That's not as bad as someone buying a 8" W7, but it's close to it

A Jl Slash 1000 would be perfect for two 10" JL W6s, which is the BEST size they come in.

I'd go with this. JL Audio: Products
you have a good point about the w6's. but they are also a pretty loud sub too. i already have them and bought them for a good deal from a friend. i really dislike that they have a rear speaker in that location, it really doesnt make any sense. basically i am in need of some advice for what to do about rear speakers. i guess the pods are a good idea, but just dont look good. i guess i will have to live

any decent deck these days has time delay which will cure that problem.
