Hi All,

I have 2008 FJ and the black is starting to show signs of age. Is there any product out there the puts new permenant refresh coat on all the plastic. I hate using Amorall because it tends to get all over clothes. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I use 303 Aerospace. It isn't permanent but it does last a while and doesn't leave the greasy aftermath behind.

I can verify it last a good while and does not hurt plastic. You could probably even do interior trunk and hide all kinds of mucked up scratched besides outside trim.

I'm a Meguairs fan, we've had great success with the ultimate trim restorer. Roof rack, rock rails, fender flairs and mud flaps, spare tire cover. Makes it all look brand new. Usually lasts a few washes and stays clean.

"Back to Black" works great, not sure who makes it, Mother's I think. Lasts for quite a while. I'm just planning on "Plasti-Dip"ping my plastic. give that idea some thought, lot's of "Plasti-Dip" info here.

Can confirm back-to-black works well. These products are like Frank's, "I put that sh!t on everything" ?

I use 303 protectant because it has UV protection and is not greasy unlike the Armorall.

How is Turtle Wax Trim Restorer. Should return and go for the Mother's or 303?

320 grit sand paper adhesion promoter then a good primer and a mat paint. I will be doing this to almost all my plastic parts over the next few weeks.

Other then that I use a product called Super Blue on my Shelby to treat all the plastic. I will be painting most of it also over the winter. It is made by Jax Wax
