Hey guys, thinking about taking my resonators off. Not the cats, just the resonators to help a little bit of the exhaust flow and sound. Has anyone done this? pros? cons?

Is there a resonator between the muffler and cats?
I don't remember seeing any when I had my muffler installed....

Resonators are usually straight through design. I doubt you will gain any performance. Will probably make your rig sound cooler though.

What resonators ??

You should have 4 cats, and 1 muffler, but no resonators....:)

The trailing Cats can be removed and should improve flow of the exhaust. Maybe lose a tad bit of torque, but gain some HP.

well if i removed the rear cats, id have to get a simulator to fool the computer. Would it hurt my gas mileage taking them off? And about the resonator, Maybe someone meant cats when they mentioned it to me. I know some suvs have resonators too. but would i lose mileage taking the rear cats off?
