I have 2007 FJ Cruiser. About a month ago the ground pin the the four flat connector broke and spliced in a new flat four connector. Connections all tested out and have been working fine until today. For some reason the 'running lights' are no longer working.

I tried two trailers, same issue. Figured it must be the splice, even checked the wire just before the splice (brown wire) and no power when running lights are on. Signals work just fine. In process of trying to trace where the wire is getting it's signal from, is there an inline fuse or something that I might be missing?

Running lights on vehicle work fine. I would hate to pull all the wiring out under the back end to find it was a simple fuse or something else.

Any suggestions? Back to troubling shooting.

Wow I like the FJ, it actually has fuses on the towing lights. My last vehicle did not and I just assumed the FJ was the same. It was the fuse, just need to go an get a new fuse, but the tail/running light fuse had popped.
