Just a quick question...

I will be driving on the beach this weekend. I will not be in the FJ however. I will be in a Ford F150 quad cab. How low should I go with the tire pressure? This truck is a rental and we will have no other vehicles or recovery gear with us. I certainly don't want to get stuck but I definately don't want to knock a bead off the rim. We are just cruising the beach in North Carolina (OBX) nothing crazy.

That's going to depend on the type of tires you have and how you drive it. Soft tires and you won't have to lower it much. If you're going to be doing rooster tails, then you might not want to lower it too much. Taking it mello and you can lower it more. Conservatively 20 psi.

Yep. Start high and go lower as you feel the need.
