Has anyone ever tried to put side pipes on their fj?? Does anyone know if it's even possible? I'm not in front of the fj right now so ive no idea what the space between the wheels looks like or how far back the muffler is set.

Just a question/I thought it might look pretty cool.

Sorry, should have rephrased. Side pipe as in have the exhaust pop out before the rear wheel.

Have to run em on the passenger's side, ala NASCAR. All those high speed left hand turns ya know.

just pulled it out of the garage to get some pics. it's going up for sale this spring. complete rebuilt motor and tranny, custom lake pipes on both sides. It's a 63 miller meteor end loader. Creepy fun car but I've run out of time to restore it anymore. It came from Spokane about 7 years ago and it's been in the garage. I'm guessing it weighs around 5 tons and it's almost 24 feet long. It's fun to drive around but it needs a new home.
