The Smokey Mountain Cruisers are hosting a Memorial Day Weekend Ride & Hike at Cades Cove inside the Great Smoky Mountain National Park on May 24th and 25th.

This will be a relaxing weekend with friends and family. We will be doing the Auto Trails inside the park and some hiking to a few of the Waterfalls.

This will not be a techincal or difficult ride, you won't even have to put it in
4wd. This is a great opportunity for you to come out and meet the Smokey Mountain Cruisers, bring the family and enjoy a weekend of fun, fellowship and scenic views.

Most of us will be arriving Friday night the 23rd with the ride and hikes taking place on the 24th and 25th and returning home on Monday the 26th.

If you would like to join us please post up so we can add you to the list of attendees.

More info to come.

What time do you think we will get started on Saturday morning? I'm thinking that we will probably not drive up until Saturday morning and come back on Monday. I think I may have found a cabin though. Planning on bringing my dogs so I have to find one that is pet friendly.

I love your dogs!! I've always wanted one, but we are never home enough to have one.

I'm going to guess and say 7 or 8 that Saturday morning. We can't get into Cades Cove until after 10, because it's open for the bikers, so we have another trail in mind that we can do before the Cades Cove loop opens up.

Bummer...I hate that we have to miss out on this one :(, but we'll be in Disney World that week:blueblob:, so I'll try not to be too depressed about it.
Have fun with the Mouse. :)

It won't be the same without yall. But I promise we will have another ride in June.

Tyree your dogs are beautiful! :pinklove:

We have some friends that have two and work alot w/ the local Weimaraner rescue...they are really cool dogs.:rocker:
Thanks Misty! They are nuts but lots of fun. :bouncy: They love to hike, camp, etc. and I hate to leave them at home so I'm trying to find a cabin that is pet friendly which is usually not a problem.

Reason #23451236 not to leave food in your car, tent, sleeping bag, etc. in the Smoky Mountain National Park.
