I agree, it is frustrating.

Sadly, there is nothing the moderating staff can do. From the sounds of it, the head Administrators have taken the time to look into it and check things for you but cannot find anything out of the ordinary.

Just to clarify - my problem was resolved (on my end) and Administrator was helpful. :)

FJess, did he tell you what was wrong or what he had to do to fix it? I'm curious.

I'm a Network Administrator and I figured I could provide a little insight here as to what may be causing the problem, in case he ever cools off and decides to check here again.

Bottom line is, everyone else is receiving messages, the mailer is obviously working, the problem is on the end of his provider, most likely a spam filter. There's a slim chance it's a provider equipment or upstream issue, but not likely.

They did a nslookup on the verticalscope.com domain and came up with an IP, and checked it against a blacklist. Which is usually only what a fraction of a spam filter catches, so it's not a wonder it does not appear there. Spam filters use lots of other tricks to filter out messages.

But, a bigger issue is the fact that the mail server IP is different from verticalscope.com IP, so they weren't even searching for the right IP to begin with. It also may be a reason it's being blocked, as spam filters will often perform a DNS lookup and when they see a mismatch like that, they will give it negative hits that can contribute to it being considered spam, and possibly even block it outright. If the admins here can get him a copy of the bounceback, it should indicate what happened.

Below is the header from a recent PM I received showing the different IP. His e-mail provider may find it helpful.
