Here we go! I finally got the new to me FJ home. Pulled all the seats & the center console, & cleaned them well. It is obvious the rig was designed for that! I also installed the lift, here are some photos along the way
The day I bought it
I didn't get a chance to take any pics while I was installing the Rev-Tech 3" Lift, but here it is on the line-up rack
Now the end result with 33" BFG's & 18" Incubis "Poltergiest" wheels
Oh, I also got the new windshield! Now I just gotta figure out the new paint scheme, I think the TOILIT may be back from the dead & it's after my wallet!
Nice, Toilit reminds me of the last time we went down to Hodads restaraunt, they got old licence plates all over the wall and they got one that says toilet over the respective area. I looked at it closely and it was truly a used vanity plate, not just a novelty one. It got me wondering what kind of person and more importantly what kind of vehicle would have that plate. hahahah
My original FJ40 had a Chev 350, & the plate toylet was taken, so my plate was TOILIT & that is where the name got it's origins. The fact that the original cruiser ended up becoming a money pit, & so it became known for flushing money down the toilet, so the vanity plate took on another meaning.
