I’m sure this has been debated to death but I’m looking to change my spark plugs and was looking for recommendations as to the best spark plugs for a 2008 FJ.

I have found that sticking to stock is best for plugs. I tried different plugs in my 07 and it hated them. Hope this helps :)

Like Mikey said above "NGK7787 copper plugs".

200k miles on my 07 and I install a new set every 50k.
Here's a pic of the old plugs(50k miles) that I recently replaced w/new for <$30

Thank you for your responses. I’ll get the NGK7787 copper plugs. Any tricks to replacing them. I’ve done on other vehicles but just want to make sure I do it right

Replace them closer to 30k miles as recommended. You can tell the electrode has worn down the copper tip and/or needs re-gapping. Make sure to have a couple extensions on hand. I believe the last plug on the drivers side, I needed to use a swivel connector. Torque spec for spark plug is 15lbs-ft and coil pack is 7.4lbs-ft.
