I seem to get a lot of spiders in my fj everytime I go on trails in the woods. I've killed 3 this week that were on my leg while driving. The annoying part is opening the door every morning to a halloween themed interior. I need to get rid of them and prevent further intrusions before the female passengers cause me to wreck after a sighting of said crawler. Looking for a cheap verified fix besides keeping my windows and doors shut.

Don't really want to kill just repel

Natural predators....

A lizard in the FJ may be a better choice than a scorpion.

Duuuuude, I hate spiders...and even worse are spider webs! Honestly, I'd bug bomb it as well. That's crazy. They could be hiding somewhere...and don't get me started if you try to kill a mom spider with her 1,000 babies! 🤬🤬🤬

I haven't seen 2 of the same spiders yet so I don't think there's any spider happy time happening. If it wasn't for the webs everywhere it wouldn't even bother me even though I'm not a fan of them crawling on me while driving. Think I'm going to tear all the plastics apart and vacuum them up and set them free on my neighbor's Jeep.

Vacuum and more vacuum. Then, Bug bomb.. I remember one place I lived in college, they had a flea problem because one of the mate's cat tracked it in. Vacuumed, bombed, and religiously sprayed flea killer every evening and finally went away after a week.

I was told by a hardware specialist to try spider/ bug killer spray around the perimeter of the car. If you still plan to keep the windows open, try wiping some of the liquid spray around the door, surrounding the window. It smells really sweet like pancake deodorizer so don't lick your window and I think you'll be safe.

I've decided on installing a reptile this weekend. Will take pictures
I think you need to post this in the mod section :) Perhaps do a good write-up with photos of the install? 😝

I live in the mountains and we have a lot of big tree spiders up here. I never leave the windows open on my FJ. I would cause a sigalert if one of them dropped on me while I was driving. I had one crawling on my bedroom floor the other day that was 2+ inches across. Almost thought I was going to have to shoot it :)
