Did a search to see if anyone had tried one of these but didn't find anything. Came across this cap browsing the Summit site and was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Stant Capless Adapter. According to the Stant website there's one for the FJ.
Yes it takes all of 1 second to unscrew a gas cap but was just curious.

Why?

If I ever get too lazy or weak to take a gas cap off, I guess it will be time to stop driving.

I would fill that with dirt and mud so fast it wouldn't be funny. Then to just stick a nozzle down there and flush it all in the tank. No thank you.

It seems like a race specific thing to me. Short pit stops and all that. I can't imagine watching a truck pull in to pit and seeing the crew pop the door and unscrew the cap fill it up and screw it back in to one click.

I did buy the Stant locking gas cap, I do not think this is a good idea for OR application. Could see this thing causing a seal leak to the atmosphere and setting off a code fault in the computer. seems more like a NASCAR want-A-Be gimmick?
