Does anyone out there know the weight of the front & rear bumpers (the complete assemblies steel, plastic & rubber)?

I'm thinking about engineering my own and would like to get a start on a design now without having to take mine apart. I'll take mine apart & compare strength to weight in the final optimization with FEA.

If no one replies with accurate info, I'll hop on a scale with the complete components of both front and rear that are sitting in my garage. Not much for accuracy, but though I'd offer.

I removed my front bumper to install a tube bumper, I would guess that it came in at 35-40 lbs all together, certainly not more. Most of the is the cross member that bolts to the frame ends.
Don't know about the rear but it looks smaller..
PM me if you want the templates for the front frame mounts. I have a pdf file that includes the templates for the mounting plates that I made.

Someone in a thread a long time ago (2006, 2007?) actually weighed all the bits and pieces and IIRC it came out to about 30 pounds.
