Actually, I saw it on the TT site yesterday and that prompted me to find the info on Stratton's site. It looks like all the details aren't listed yet, but it still looks like a very good time.

NECruiser - Did you go last year? It seems very appropriate for a off-road "newb" like myself.

That looks like a blast! Read through it - did not see where to sign up....

I went to this last year. Was the first time for this event.
They had a neat little obstacle course set up and also had a run up to the top of the
mountain. It was a very mellow and relaxed event.

I really went because I wanted to camp in VT for the weekend.
Jamaica State Park nearby was a pretty nice campground.

I'm guessing they'll be updating the info soon. Hopefully with more registration info.

Went to this last year...Definitely perfect for newbs. We drove the access roads to the top of the mountain, did the obstacle course. The TT guys gave some lectures/training. Good for one day. The registration should be through Stratton's site.

Great! I'll also look forward to seeing some other trucks and their "mods". I'm bored with not getting waves from stock FJs in VT.:wave:

I really want to go to this event but too far for me.

I think im going with my girlfriend. sounds like a mellow fun run that she might enjoy. And ive only skied there never seen it without snow.

Hey Bostonian, Jeff and I are planning on attending let me know if you want to cruise up with us.

Looks like I'm out. I'll be fighting traffic on the way back from Myrtle Beach, SC. Sounds like a nice event and it's good to go to a Trail Teams event. They offer some good advice and techniques plus you can see how far you can push a stock rig. Watch out though, that's how you catch the Wheelin' Bug!

I think I'm arriving in Myrtle Beach about then, so I'm out too.

Maybe we can meet up for some crab cakes. I probably won't know the exact details of our trip since we're winging it after we drop child #3 off at college on the 21st.

i'll probably be up there as well, i think it will be a great place for me to start wheeling, i have no "real" experience yet...

I have always seen the TT offer up their vehicles for the trail rides. That's what my wife did last year and after blasting through a swamp at full throttle, she now has her own FJ. TT is not just FJC now, they bring a 4runner and Tacoma also.
