Hi Folks:

Does anyone have any info on replacing the FJ Cruiser Subwoofer Amp, located in the rear speaker box?

It is apparently a $20.00 item, but TOY wants a cool $945>00 for it.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Plug & Play would be very handy.

(From a guy who spent 2 hours replacing a simple GFI recepticle today)

For plug and play, I would recommend picking up a sub from someone who has removed a working one. A lot of people choose to remove them.

It definitely is possible to rewire with your own choice of amp and even an upgraded speaker, but that's no where near plug and play. It's an option though.
